Parenting a child who has experienced trauma requires deep empathy, specialized tools, and an understanding of how trauma impacts behavior, emotions, and development. This class is designed specifically for foster parents, offering practical, trauma-informed strategies to support healing and build trust. Participants will learn how to recognize trauma responses, manage challenging behaviors with compassion, and create safe, nurturing environments where children can begin to feel secure. With a focus on connection, regulation, and resilience, this workshop empowers caregivers to become steady, healing presences in the lives of the children they care for—bringing hope to both child and parent along the journey.
