If you know an interested local family, we would love you to invite or even join them for the series.  If you plan to join us for the series, please email that you plan to attend – it is appreciated. Please also complete the Release Form and send it to us by email or mail.

Concurrently, you can fill out the Yolo County RFA Application.  If you have specific questions on the application you can reach out to Nellie.Evans@yolocounty.org, the RFA Supervisor. After you complete the RFA  application and the Pre-Approval classes, the County RFA Team is given 90 days to work with you.

There is a Pre-Approval Series held each month of the year.  Check the FKCE Calendar for future class dates and times.

Register in advance for this meeting. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.

• August 8, 6pm – 9pm     RFA Class 2: Early Adversity, the Impact of Trauma, Abuse, Neglect and Loss, Presented by Cherie Schroeder
• August 13, 6pm – 9pm      RFA Class 3: Education & Health, Community Supports, and Reproductive and Health Rights, Presented by Katelyn Woods
• August 15, 6pm – 9pm    RFA Class 4: Positive Parenting, Presented by Lynn Arner, Child Development Specialist and Parenting Coach
• August 20, 6pm – 9pm      RFA Class 5: Making Your Home a Safe Haven, Presented by Cherie Schroeder
• August 23, 6pm – 8pm      In-Person Class: Attachment, the Importance of Family, Culture, & Supporting Transitions
