Do I get an allowance while in foster care?
Yes. You have the right to receive an allowance while in foster care. Your caregiver has to give you an allowance that is appropriate for your age.
Is the money I get from the Independent Living Program (ILP) my allowance?
No. Your ILP money is separate and is NOT an allowance.
