New Cases – Temporary (30 day) Medi-Cal cards
- Please contact the Yolo Children’s Service Coordinator (see above) and the temporary card will be emailed to you.
All Ongoing Cases – Temporary or Physical Medi-Cal cards
Please email the eligibility team at yolo.care@yolocounty.org and include the foster youth’s birth date and current address.
- Temporary Medi-Cal card will be emailed to you typically in 1-3 days.
- Physical Medi-Cal card are issued by the state and mailed to the youth’s placement address typically within 2+ months of request.
- Foster youth in extended foster – You can request temporary or physical Medi-Cal cards from your social worker or you can directly email the eligibility team at yolo.care@yolocounty.org . Include your name, birth date, and current address.
