- Demonstrated financial need
- 2.5+ GPA; Full-time enrollment
- High school senior or undergraduate college student currently attending a school in the Sacramento County 2-year college, vocational, trade or technical school in Sacramento County
- $1,000 – $3,000
- Plan to work a minimum of 10 hours per week while attending college; Preference will be given to current and former foster youth, students who have completed a semester of college, and students who have been active in their school and or community
The Max and Nadine Dimick Scholarship #
- Demonstrated financial need
- 3.0+ GPA; Full-time enrollment
- Graduating high school senior or current student
- Community College in El Dorado, Placer, Sacramento, or Yolo counties
- $1,000 – $2,000
The Nadine Dimick Nursing Scholarship #
- Demonstrated financial need
- 3.0+ GPA; Full-time enrollment
- Any 2-year college, 4-year university in the El Dorado, Placer, Sacramento, or Yolo counties
- Studying Nursing
- $1,000
Stolba/Sukkary Family Scholarship #
- Demonstrated financial need
- 2.5+ GPA; Part- or full-time enrollment
- Graduating high school senior or college freshman in Sacramento, Placer, Yolo or El Dorado counties
- Any 2-year college or vocational or trade school
- $1,000 – $3,000
- Preference will be given to first generation college students
David Breaux Memorial Scholarship #
- Demonstrated financial need
- 3.0+ GPA; Full-time enrollment
- Yolo County high school senior or college student in their first year of study
- Any 2-year or 4-year college or university
- $2,000
- Must have attended or be currently attending a school in Yolo County
NorYo Opportunity Scholarship #
- Demonstrated financial need
- 2.0 + GPA
- High school senior residing in northern Yolo County (see zip code requirements)
- 2-year community college, vocational or trade school
- $1,000 – $3,000
- Reside in the following cities/towns & zip codes: Capay Valley (95607; 95606), Dunnigan (95937), Esparto (95627), Knights Landing (95645 only within Yolo County), Madison (95653), Woodland (95695; 95776), Yolo (95697), Zamora (95698);
- Preference will be given to applicants who are first generation college students
- Preference will be given to renewal applicants
Orphan Scholarship Fund #
One of the ancient admonitions of our Order is to “educate the orphan”. In accordance with that worthy goal, the family of Triffle P. and Annie G. Ivancovich have made a generous donation to establish Davis Odd Fellows Charities, Inc. (a 501(c)(3) corporation) to operate a scholarship fund for the benefit of orphans and young men and women who grew up in the foster care system. This fund can provide scholarships of between $5,000 to $10,000 for recipients. There are stringent requirements to qualify, but the fund is available for applicants from throughout the USA. The eligibility requirements are listed on the forms.
There are two forms to fill out to apply for a scholarship. There is a nomination form – any Odd Fellow or Rebekah may nominate a worthy candidate. And there is a simple application form, to be completed by the young man or woman applying for the funds.
The deadline for receipt of submissions is June 1, 2026.
